Portraite of James Brownlow WilliamGascoyne-Cecil (1791 - 1868), 2nd Marquess of Salisbury in a period inscribed frame. Styled Viscount Cranborne until 1823, was a British Conservative politician. He held office under the Earl of Derby as Lord Privy Seal in 1852 and Lord President of the Council between 1858 and 1859. £POA.

Richard Cosway RA (1742 - 1821) att. The Prince of Wales, later George IV (1762 - 1830), head and shoulders wearing a blue coat with the star of the Order of the Garter on ivory. Unfinished study, circa 1790, in a gilt-mounted rectangular ebonised papier mache frame. Note; This portrait closely reassembles one held in the Royal Collection, depicting the Prince of Wales in the uniform of the 10th Light Dragoons by Cosway circa 1793. Several miniatures of this subject are recorded in the accounts submitted by Cosway to the Prince. Five for May 1795, at a charge of 30 gns. each and further examples in a list for 1799 -1800 at a charge of 25 gns.
